"Pleasant"
Modest menu and offering for breakfast. Crowded venue and hurried service at breakfast. Not at all the feel of a country inn more Motel 6. Directive notes round and about (don't take the cups to your room, no pets aloud as their delightful little dog begged from all. He, the dog, was infinitely more friendly than the manager --though the wife was quite amiable--) Property owners have the right (and need) to set the rules, my observation concerns the tone not the content of the directives.

Great location right near the wedding venue we were attending. Beautiful peaceful views Very relaxing to sit out back Our room was perfect for two I had a great quiet night sleep.

Excellent Location, close to downtown Manchester.Every room has a gorgepus view. The owners are very welcoming and take great care of each and every guest. Feels more like a family. Definitely recommend and will come again.

The Northshire Lodge felt like a home away from home. The room was so clean and comfortable with a beautiful view and breakfast was delicious! Brad and Stacy are the nicest people and made us feel so welcome. A bonus was Otis, their sweet dog - Our daughter made a friend! Thanks for everything- We hope to be back again!

I really enjoyed the view and the rooms were great. The owners were very friendly and talked with us. I also liked that they had microwave and fridge in the rooms. We arrived on Christmas and nothing was open to eat. We brought leftovers and was able to eat in the room.

North Shire Lodge provided a comfortable and clean room in a location that was super convenient to everything in the area. Kerry was very friendly and helpful in giving us advice about what to do...from hiking to sightseeing, to a local concert. The room was super homey feeling, with beautiful wood furniture and a gorgeous view from the chairs in the back.

Perfect place for a staycation in Vermont during snowy months. We spent 3 nights looking at the beautiful snow covered mountains. The lodge is about 5-10 minutes drive away from the main city and city's noise. Room size is pretty good and standard amenities like coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave are available. They have a cute, cozy, well priced and enormous selection bar. Most remarkably, this small family run place offers hot breakfast every morning. We have traveled to many places ever since corona, and this was the only place which served warm breakfast, something other than instant oats and bagel, toasts. They let you select a portion of one of the items which they intend to serve next morning and serve that with love and fresh brewed coffee

absolutely adorable this place. cozy & clean rooms, lovely owners and delicious breakfast. never stayed in a better place. 100% tops all the big brand names. 20 minutes straight through town to Vermont Horse Show.
